Research & Accountability
Curriculum & Instruction Mission: To provide quality instructional services for all Tyler ISD learning communities in order to equip, prepare and develop life-long learners who can adapt to the demands of an ever-changing society.
Department Mission


Our mission is to enhance student learning and performance by providing the tools necessary for a data-driven, decision-making organization.


Goals:

  • Customer Service is our #1 Priority!
  • The research and accountability department will provide leadership and guidance to district stakeholders in order to effectively administer state assessment program with as few test irregularities as possible.
  • The research and accountability department will analyze, report, and train district stakeholders to interpret student performance data in order to systematically gauge performance and identify areas of improvement.
  • The research and accountability department will provide sustained staff development to ensure stakeholders are knowledgeable of federal and state accountability mandates.The assessment and accountability department will utilize data to research and provide effective practices and initiatives for continuous district improvement.
  • The research and accountability department will provide instructional technology assistance to campuses to ensure programs are implemented effectively.

2013-2014 TPRS
The Texas Performance Reporting System (TPRS) for the 2013-14 school year is now available at http://ritter.tea.state.tx.us/perfreport/tprs.

The TPRS, which provides detailed performance results at the school, district, region, and state levels, expands on information previously released in the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) by presenting performance and participation results by student group, including
  • Economically Disadvantaged,
  • Male/Female,
  • Special Education,
  • At Risk,
  • Migrant,
  • English Language Learners (ELLs), and
  • Career and Technical Education (CTE)

20142015 School Report Cards
The 20142015 School Report Cards (SRC) are now available on the Texas Education Agencys website at the link below for each campus. If you have additional questions or need assistance accessing the School Report Cards, please contact the assessment office.
